Rob Sinclair
…loves to mark in his Bible
Rob Sinclair is the founder of Beyond the Highlighter and the author of the Bible Keywording Guide series. He has been in ministry since 2012 and is a graduate of the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver, Colorado (Th.B.). With a background in law enforcement, Rob also holds degrees in Criminal Justice (B.S.) and Psychology. Outside of his faith, family, and pulpit preaching, his greatest passions include all things outdoors, canine agility work with his border collie, Luke, and classic country music. Having grown up in the wide-open spaces of Wyoming, Rob and his wife, Kylie, plan to strengthen the body of Christ in the Mountain West as long as the Lord permits.
I was told once by a friend that before he understood what keywording was, a mechanical pencil and a yellow highlighter were “standard procedure” when it came to marking important ideas and insights in his Bible. Unfortunately, this is the story of all too many Christians who desire to know more about God’s Word. Yellow highlighters have been used to mark entire pages of Biblical text for decades, but no real method has emerged from the madness. Thus Beyond the Highlighter was founded to bring the Bible Keywording Guides to those seeking to understand the text better.
